Wangaratta Art Gallery Friends Inc. are vital supporters and ambassadors for the Gallery. Becoming a member connects you with like minded people, enables you to explore new artists and ideas, be inspired and challenged and part of a dynamic community.

The Friends are a not for profit group who assist with fundraising and events. They make the Gallery stronger by contributing financially for acquisitions for the collection, supporting events and programs, catering and coming together with a common purpose to grow and enrich Wangaratta Art Gallery.

As a Gallery Friend you will enjoy great benefits and discounts at the Gallery and reciprocal benefits at other public galleries, including shop and café discounts and members’ price entry at the National Gallery of Australia.

Do you have a love of good conversation and an interest in art? Become a volunteer for Wangaratta Art Gallery.

Volunteers provide an incredible service to Wangaratta Art Gallery. They contribute extensive hours and expertise in supporting positive outcomes and enhancing the gallery’s offering to visitors and our community. Becoming a volunteer can provide wonderful opportunities to contribute to the cultural life and activities in Wangaratta. You’ll get first hand experience of our amazing programs, exhibitions, events as well as meet artists and cultural professionals.

It’s a great way to become actively involved in your community, enhance and continue skills development, meet and interact with people of all ages and interests, build your confidence, learn new skills and, most of all, experience art.
